Wave Flow

Need a powerful digital audio editor but are on a budget? Take Wave Flow for a test drive. It has many of the "must have" bells and whistles of editors that cost over twice as much. Use its clean-looking interface to access versatile audio-processing tools such as Inverse, Reverse, Reverb, Echo, Effects, Resample, and Speed Up/Down. Along with opening common PCM .wav files, Wave Flow can load and edit .wav files in u-law and a-law format as well as .snd and .au files in 8- and 16-bit linear/u-law formats. You'll also find controls for filtering, equalization, normalization, fade-in and fade-out, and amplification. Plus, there's a built-in CD player to make it easier to snatch samples from audio CDs. If you can't afford Cool Edit or Sound Forge XP, Wave Flow is a nice alternative.
